"African species, established in the Western Hemisphere. It was first reported from Grand Cayman and St. Kitts and from intercepted specimens from the Dominican Republic and Jamaica by Henry and Froeschner (1993). It is also now known from the Florida mainland. Grand Cayman (Henry and Froeschner 1993, RMB) and Cayman Brac (RMB)" (Baranowski & Slater, 1998); see also Baranowski & Slater 2005
